FAQ

What does the workflow look like when booking with RCP?

Conversations are had to determine the 5W's. (Who, what, when, where, and how)
Once the type of session, and budget has been determined, we proceed with booking a session. Dates are chosen, and invoices are sent.
From there a personalized and custom session is then planned out. You will get consultation on wardrobe, location, which lighting works best for the concept of the session, posing, and hair/makeup.
On the session date, you show up and rock your session.
Afterwards editing is 2-6 weeks depending on the busy season and workload.
You'll get your gallery link with your pictures edited.
You'll heart your allotted images per package, and those will be sent to you in a digital download. Physical prints or products will be mailed to your door.

Do you offer Payment Plans?

Yes!! RCP offers payment plans with every session with the exception to Limited Edition Sessions.
You can get a plan set up to have it paid off before or after, your session takes place. Images will not be released until the balance is paid.

Do you shoot destination sessions?

YES! I love to travel and will go all over the country to get that perfect location. If this is a destination session you're looking for, please include that when booking.

How does payment work?

Invoices are sent via email and paid with a card, but I do accept checks from those I know, and cash with a receipt.

Will you travel for general sessions or events?

Yes, I do! I am based out of Brookville, IN, however I will travel all over. A travel fee is added on to all sessions, based on milage. This is for any session that is more than 15 minutes from my base. If there are any overnight, or other travel accommodations/expenses, that could also be added to the session. This is done on a case by case basis.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Depending on the type of session and what is scheduled after, yes. You will have to pay the invoice at that moment, before the session is to continue.

What kind of gear do you use?

I use various Nikon, Sigma, and Tamron gear that I've collected over the last 10 years. I also have a DJI Drone for picture/videos, and a GoPro for underwater stills and video.

How long does editing take?

Typically editing takes 3-7 business days.
During busier times it may be longer.
Rush editing is available for an additional $100 fee.

What is your Editing Style?

As a natural light photographer, my editing style would be described as
~Bold~ True to Life ~ Vibrant.
I like to keep good contrast in my images, my greens as dark and blue based as I can get them, and bold color pop. This can also make my B&W images a bit on the moody side.

What type of products do you have?

I offer both digital and physical items.
Digital items are sent in a download via email. Physical products are mailed to your doorstep from a professional printing lab. Prints and other products do not have to be purchased through me, however I cannot guarantee the quality if printed elsewhere.

Do I get a print release or copyrights?

A print release is given with every session, however as the photographer, I own the copyrights. A print release gives you permission from me to print images and have them for personal use only.
Any images that are being used for monetary gain, would be classified as commercial use, and will require a commercial use license from me. Copyright would only possibly be given away on a commercial license, which would be stated in the contract.

How can I use my pictures?

General sessions - you have a right to use for personal use for printing and social media. Social media images must credit the photographer. Copyright and ownership is automatically assumed and retained with the photographer, unless otherwise stated a contract.

Commercial sessions - you have the right to use images in a commercial context. Specific parameters to be discussed in the contract.

Models - you have the right to post and use in your portfolio per the discretion of the photographer. Copyright and ownership to remain with RCP unless otherwise agreed upon terms.
